Terms of use and content policy
1. The service
These Terms of use and content policy (the “Terms”) set the conditions for the use of Oregano Prime, a Hungarian-language nutrition, activity and weight tracking service (the “Service”). The Service is AI-first: it gives AI-based estimates, a diary, reports and review by an assigned expert.
The operator is Y Innovation Lab Kft. Registered office: 1103 Budapest, Gergely utca 112/C S2/1. EU VAT number: HU32543003. Contact person: Szabó András. Phone: +36 30 251 6551. Email: szundi@gmail.com.
2. Acceptance and eligibility
Version 2026-10-29-1 adds a separate login recovery key on supported Android devices. After a device change, the key can help with login through an end-to-end encrypted Google cloud backup or a direct device transfer. It contains no diary data and no existing session token. The Privacy notice gives the details. Existing participants accept the new version again once, with the two current checkboxes; a key can be made only after this.
Acceptance of these Terms in the app is a precondition for submitting content. The participant start screen has two checkboxes in total, both empty by default: one accepts these Terms, the other gives explicit consent to the processing of health data, external AI and speech recognition that the Privacy notice describes. Only persons who are 18 years of age or older (the “User”) can use the Service. The User must use their own Google or Apple account and must take reasonable measures to protect access.
The processing for the basic operation is accepted on this shared screen. The consent covers the full AI and speech processing scope that the Privacy notice lists. Within this scope, a model change, taking a photo, choosing a photo or dictation does not ask for a new processing acceptance in the app. Device access permissions and the confirmation of actions such as deletion are separate. The optional connection of your own AI assistant (ChatGPT, OpenAI Dot, Claude, Grok, Grok Bot or Meta Muse) needs a separate permission that you can withdraw.
The external assistant only reads and records structured data, with the permissions that you give. Through this connection it cannot call the AI processing of Oregano Prime. You use the assistant service under the terms and limits of your own account. The nutrient estimate and the advice of the assistant can be wrong. Check and accept the submitted meal draft in the Oregano Prime app.
For AI, search and server speech recognition tasks, data can go to any of the following providers, for the purposes and under the conditions that the Privacy notice describes: OpenAI, OpenRouter, Google, Alibaba Cloud, Meta, Phala, Microsoft Azure, Z.ai, Cerebras, Anthropic, Mistral AI, xAI, DeepSeek, Fireworks, Exa and Parallel. Speech recognition on the device or in the browser can be done by Apple, Google or Microsoft. Within this provider and processing scope, the choice of the provider, model, version or technical setting, and the administrator enabling or disabling the use of data for training as the Privacy notice describes, do not need a new contract, a change to the Terms or to the Privacy notice, or a new acceptance.
Oregano Prime is an invitation-only service. You can ask for an invitation at hello@oreganoprime.com. When a place is available, we send an invitation. A new account can be made only with an email address that the administrator has approved in advance and that Google or Apple has verified. The approval can be used once. For an Apple hidden address, the exact relay address must be approved. Only the login provider that is available at the time can be used. Another provider identity can be connected to an existing account when both identities are freshly verified. Oregano Prime does not merge two existing accounts on the basis of the email address.
3. Not a medical service
The result of the Service is an estimate. It is not a diagnosis, treatment, emergency help or personalised medical instruction. The nutrient value, the portion, the activity energy and the AI interpretation can be wrong. The User must not base a health decision only on the result of the Service.
4. User content and access
User content includes in particular meal descriptions, photos, speech transcripts, corrections, evening feedback, replies to advice, expert notes, guidance, and support or content reports. Content does not go into a public feed. The content of a participant is available to the assigned expert and the administrator; the content of an expert is available to the participant concerned and the administrator. The Service therefore handles limited, closed user content.
The User keeps the rights to their own content. The User gives the operator a limited licence that is necessary to operate the Service and to analyse, display, keep, moderate and delete the content. The User can submit only content for which they have the necessary rights or permission.
5. Prohibited content and conduct
The User must not submit, make available or use content of the following types:
- illegal, threatening, hateful, harassing or degrading content, or content that incites violence;
- material that shows or supports child sexual exploitation, sexual violence or intimate content without consent;
- unnecessary publication of sensitive or identifying data of another person;
- impersonation, fraud, deception, dangerous health claims or instructions that help self-harm;
- malicious code, disruption of the system, attempts at unauthorised access or circumvention of access limits;
- infringement of copyright, personality rights or other rights of a third party.
6. Moderation and reporting
With the report button next to the content, or through Account → Report content or an AI response, the User can report, without leaving the app, AI content, user or expert content, a user, or a privacy or security problem. A report started from content records the content type and record identifier that the server has checked.
The Service checks text that another user will see with a limited automatic filter for prohibited content. The audit of a rejection does not contain the submitted text or a fingerprint of it. The filter is not infallible. The Service checks uploaded images for type, size and access permission, but does not send them to a separate external image content moderation provider.
On the report page, the participant and the assigned expert can block each other immediately. The block removes the access of the participant–expert connection and stops new content exchange. The administrator can resolve the block with an audit record, but the resolution does not automatically restore the expert assignment.
The administrator receives a system email without content about each new report and each connection block. The aim of the administrator is to examine the report within 24 hours. The administrator can withdraw content, end an expert assignment, revoke a session, block access or suspend an account. A serious or repeated violation can cause an immediate block. The closed Service has no free 1:1 messaging and no public social connection; the administrator assigns and ends user connections.
7. AI content
The answer of the AI is a machine estimate. The Service uses server-side checks and a limited correction run, but these do not guarantee accuracy. The participant must check the meal estimate before closing it. Offensive, dangerous or misleading AI content can be reported in the app.
8. Account, deletion and availability
The User can request the deletion of the full account in the app. The operator can revoke access in the case of a violation, a security risk or inactivity. Withdrawal of the consent for Apple login does not, by itself, delete the Oregano Prime account or its diary. The Service can change, can stop temporarily for maintenance, and its continuous and error-free availability is not guaranteed.
9. Liability and changes
The User is responsible for the submitted data and for their own decisions. To the extent that the applicable law permits, the operator is not liable for damage that comes from the use of the AI estimate alone or from incorrectly submitted content. A material change to the Terms can make a new acceptance in the app necessary.
10. Apple terms and applicable law
For an app downloaded from the App Store, these Terms supplement the Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement that is in force at the time. Y Innovation Lab Kft., not Apple, is responsible for the Service, its support and the handling of claims related to the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of the applicable licence terms.
Hungarian law governs these Terms. This does not limit the mandatory rights that a consumer has under the law of their place of residence.
